Treasurer and Membership-Doreen
presented financial statement, collected some memberships from board members

no report, there will be no health and safety report till

External Relations Co-ordinator/ Astrolabe- Izett
No report, Izett suggested that if he is the municipal rep and the chair of the building committee he should not be the external relations co-ordinator. Linda moved and Pat second that Izett stay on as External relations co-ordinator
Community Awareness and Fund Raising-Donna
Suggested we have Jake come and take a picture of the board for the paper
Action:Donna will contact the paper

6.0 Correspondence
6.1 Champlain LHIN Highlights-John Jordan
Pat asked if the board was interested in the minutes being sent around, the board would like to have the minutes sent around
6.2 Governance and Quality September 24, South East Ottawa CHC
Pat will attend
6.3 Retirement of Robert Cushman, application request
Applications are being accepted to find his replacement
6.3 Lease with LCHS for Cobden site,
The lease is signed and Pat has a copy of it. Daryl is going to contact Annette Manifred to see what is in the filing cabinet that she has.
6.4 Whitewater Bromley Taxi-Joan Wahay
The board was presented with the cost of providing a
taxi to a client of the WBCHC, Doreen has looked after it. Daryl mentioned that he had a volunteer who is willing to drive people to the clinic, the only question is if the volunteer would be covered by insurance. Pat will mention it to Bonny and suggested that Daryl have the volunteer call Bonny.
6.5 Signage Kruger
Doreen is going to check and see if the bill has been paid.
6. 6 Bonnechere Manor re Cobden site
Pat met with Russell from the Bonnechere Manor group and he is keen to work with us. They would like to meet with the board and make their presentation
6.9 Cobden Sun Press Release
It was decided that the press release that was in the
Cobden Sun should be on the website. The press release should also be sent
to the Renfrew and Pembroke papers. Linda will look after it.
7.0 Donna, parking at the site Donna talked to the building inspector, the parking
will be determined by the plan of the building
7.0 Other Business
7.1 Taxi Vouchers and Volunteer Driver look after in 6.5
7.2 Board Information Check-Pat
please check the information that Pat sent around about the member contact information, also could the board members come up with goals for the year
7.3 Board Work Plan Yearly Plan- Linda
Linda is keeping it up to date, going to leave orkin and trillium off this year
7.4 Summer BBQ -appreciation to Gail and Izett
Thanks from the board for a great evening
7.5 Coffee with Mike LeMay Champlain LHIN Chair
Pat and Izett met with Mike Lemay to touch base and inform him of our plans with the new building
7.6 Satellite Meeting Sept 14 Beachburg ?
Rainbow Valley postponed the next meeting. Pat will send out a notice about the reschedule
7.7 Board travel
Pat suggested that the board travel to the Lanark CHC and one other CHC to see what they have to offer, perhaps even attend a Lanark board meeting. Plan for the fall
